I Maneskin vincono agli iHeartRadio Music Awards
"Così entusiasti, per noi questo premio significa tantissimo", ha commentato la band, premiata come "Best New Alternative Artist"
I Maneskin continuano a riscuotere un successo a livello internazionale. Dopo la vittoria a Sanremo nel 2021, il successivo trionfo all'Eurovision Song Contest, e il riconoscimento di miglior band rock agli Mtv Ema, la band si è aggiudicata anche il premio di Best New Alternative Artist agli iHeartRadio Music Awards, che si sono tenuti il 22 marzo allo Shrine Auditorium di Los Angeles.

"Così entusiasti di aver appena ricevuto il premio di Best New Alternative Artist. Grazie iHeartRadio per questo onore. Per noi significa tantissimo", hanno scritto nelle storie su Instagram - aggiungendo alcuni cuori, a corredo di un loro scatto con il premio - i Maneskin, che nel coso dell'evento si sono esibiti con una coinvolgente performance dei loro brani Beggin e I wanna be your slave. La band - che a breve inizierà il Loud Kids Tour, un tour internazionale che sarà composto da ben 48 concerti fra Nord America ed Europa - ha poi condiviso una foto con Olivia Rodrigo, che ha vinto il Best New Pop Artist e il TikTok Bop of the Year con il brano good 4 you. Tra gli altri vincitori Lil Nas X, che si è aggiudicato il premio Male Artist of the Year, Drake e David Guetta, che sono stati eletti rispettivamente Hip-Hop Artist of the Year e Dance Artist of the Year, Adele, che con il suo album 30 ha vinto il premio Pop Album of the Year, e Dua Lipa che, invece, si è aggiudicata due premi: Song of the year per Levitating e Dance Album of the Year per Future Nostalgia. Nel corso della cerimonia Jennifer Lopez è stata insignita del premio iHeartRadio Icon, incantando poi il pubblico con un'esibizione del suo brano On My Way.
